Electrical And Instrumentation Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure all employees comply with regulatory & company requirements for personal & facility safety
  • To lead on diagnosing, identifying and rectification of the problem during electrical, instrumentation, respective operating system, DCS & PLC breakdown
  • Provide leadership with all preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance and reliability functions of the factory electrical, instrumentation, respective operating system, DCS & PLC
  • Lead in continuous improvement to minimize plant downtime through work order documentation, failure analysis and RCA process
  • Contribute to the development of specific procedures, work instructions, repair plans, inspection and testing schedules and ensure compliance for both electrical & instrumentation equipment
  • Assist Project Management on any Plant Improvement Project that involve Electrical & Instrumentation scope of work
  • Management of the electrical and instrumentation parts inventory including asset control, usage tracking, obsolescence reduction
  • Identify and implement training and development for E&I Technicians to ensure the necessary people skills and resources are applied currently and in the future

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years working experience in chemical/ heavy industry operation and maintenance field
  • Experience and knowledgeable on electrical equipment and installation (MV/LV/SWGR/Power Transformer/EDG) and must have knowledge of MSB, MCC, Inverter and AC motor
  • Excellence understanding and experience in Conventional Field Instruments, DCS, PLC, SCADA System., Fire Alarm System, CCTV System, HVAC Control System
  • A comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations and LOTO procedure
  • EIU Switching certificate holder will be added advantage
  • Able to read, write and speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to read, write and speak in Mandarin will be added advantage
  • Willing to work in shift
